In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I represent Stratham in the NH House of Representatives. I’ve lived in Stratham since 1999. I’m an attorney in NH and MA. I represented children and parents in neglect and abuse cases for 23 years. I bring this experience and passion to my work on the Judiciary Committee in the NH House of Representatives. I was elected as a State Representative in November, 2022.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

The cost of living in Stratham and NH is out of sight. Property taxes, mortgages/rents, student loans, health insurance, child care, electric rates, and gas are stretching everyone thin, if not beyond thin. The NH House of Representatives MUST bring costs under control. Our adult children can’t afford to live here. Our elders are stuck in their homes. They can’t afford the property taxes and they can’t afford to sell their homes and move because there’s no place affordable to go. We are stuck hanging on by our finger nails and dreading the next unexpected bill.I am extremely concerned about large AI data centers in NH. There is no state law which gives Stratham and other municipalities the authority to limit or restrict data centers, their location, their noise, their demand for electricity, and their demand for cooling. I’m working with others in the NH House to consider legislation, which would give municipalities the authority to regulate large AI data centers.I am strongly pro choice. I support a woman’s right to make her own reproductive health care decisions, in consultation with her doctor, under the standard set by Roe v. Wade.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Reproductive rights and, especially, domestic violence.
