Maynard (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the West Virginia State Senate to represent District 7. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2026. He advanced from the Republican primary on May 12, 2026.

Governor of West Virginia Patrick Morrisey (R) appointed Maynard to the West Virginia State Senate District 7 on October 30, 2025, to replace Mike Stuart (R).[1]
