Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Yasmine believes in the power of the American family. Wisconsin families should be able to afford a home and their children should be able to have the best education that prepares them to obtain a job, marry, and afford a home in-state. Wisconsin loses too many talented young people because of the underperforming job market and few opportunities.Building a strong American community is at the foundation of Yasmine’s core. Her 5th great-grandfather, Joshua Lyles, founded Lyles Station. Lyles Station is the first community of free Black people and once enslaved Americans to operate its own railroad depot, post office, lumber mill, churches, stores, and a school. The Lyles Station Smithsonian in Washington D.C. exhibit shares how Harriet Tubman frequently stopped there on her journeys to Canada. The need for Americans who are rooted in this country and are willing to fight for her future is what we need in our leadersReduce taxes to attract companies that will hire local talent.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
