In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a working mother, small business owner, and logistics professional running for Georgia State House District 2. I was raised in a working-class family in rural Tennessee and experienced firsthand how economic instability and limited access to resources affect families. I have lived and worked internationally, including in South Korea and Sweden, and now live in Northwest Georgia with my husband and two children. My background in business and community life shapes my focus on practical solutions that support working families.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Families and seniors in Northwest Georgia are working hard, but too many are falling behind as costs continue to rise. From childcare to healthcare to housing and fixed incomes, people are being asked to do more with less. I’m running to focus on practical solutions that help people keep up, not fall further behind.Healthcare should be accessible and reliable, not something families avoid because of cost. Too many people delay care, skip prescriptions, or take on debt just to stay healthy. Strengthening access to affordable healthcare supports not only individuals, but entire families and communities.Leadership should be focused on solving problems, not creating division. I believe in working across communities to find common ground and deliver results, especially when it comes to education, economic opportunity, and the long-term stability of our region.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about healthcare access, education, economic opportunity, and environmental issues affecting our region, including water quality. These issues directly impact working families and seniors. I am focused on practical, community-centered solutions that improve daily life and strengthen long-term outcomes for Northwest Georgia.
