In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a lifelong Rhode Islander, husband, father of two, and Medical Office Manager who believes public service should be about serving people, not politics. Raised by a hardworking single mother and my grandmother, I learned the values of honesty, hard work, and personal responsibility.

I spent many years as a truck driver and eventually owned my own trucking company. A few years ago, I made a promise to my mother that if she ever fulfilled her dream of opening a primary care practice, I would help her build it. Three years later, when that dream became a reality, I kept my promise. I sold my trucking company and became the General Operations Manager of her primary care clinic in Warwick. Every day I work helping patients navigate the challenges of today's healthcare system while ensuring our practice can continue serving the community.

My wife, Tawnee, and I are raising our son, Jack, and daughter, Astrid, here in Rhode Island because we believe it's one of the best places in the country to live and raise a family. Whether we're fishing along the South Shore or enjoying the many small-town festivals that make our communities unique, we're proud to call Rhode Island home.

I'm not a career politician, and I have no desire to become one. I'm running because I believe Rhode Island families deserve leaders who understand the challenges they're facing and who are willing to fight for a more affordable, accountable, and transparent s

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Affordability for Rhode Island Families

Rhode Islanders are being squeezed by rising costs everywhere they look: housing, energy, groceries, taxes, and everyday expenses. I will fight for policies that make Rhode Island more affordable by lowering unnecessary costs, reducing burdens on families and small businesses, and making sure government lives within its means. Affordability is not just about home prices; it is about the total cost of living.A Voice for Accountability and Common Sense Government

I believe government should work for the people, not the other way around. As a small business operator and former business owner, I understand the challenges families and employers face. I will bring a practical, responsible approach to the State Senate by demanding transparency, fiscal responsibility, and accountability from our state government.Keeping Promises and Serving Our Communities

I am running because I believe public service should be about commitment, not politics. I sold my trucking company to keep a promise I made to my mother to help manage her medical practice, and I understand the importance of showing up and doing the work. I will bring that same dedication to representing Westerly, Charlestown, and South Kingstown with honesty and a focus on the issues that matter most to our communities.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about conservation, preserving our environment, and protecting the natural resources that make Rhode Island such a special place to live. Our coastline, forests, rivers, and open spaces are part of our state’s identity, and we have a responsibility to protect them for future generations.

I believe environmental stewardship and economic responsibility can work together. We can protect our natural resources while supporting working families, small businesses, and responsible growth. Good environmental policy should be practical, science-based, and focused on long-term results rather than unnecessary burdens on the people who call Rhode Island home.
