Why I’m Running for Congress
For more than 37 years, I’ve answered the call as a paramedic.
I’ve walked into homes when families were having the worst day of their lives. I’ve worked alongside firefighters, law enforcement, dispatchers, nurses, and doctors. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when government systems work—and what happens when they don’t.
Now, I’m answering another call.
I’m running for the United States House of Representatives because I believe the people of Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District deserve a representative who will listen, ask questions, challenge the status quo, and stand up for the people—not the political establishment.
I’m not a career politician.
I’m a paramedic.
For decades, people have trusted me with their lives. I understand accountability. I understand service. And I understand that when someone needs help, you don't get to make excuses—you have to act.
Washington needs more people willing to bring that same attitude to government.
This campaign is about giving voters a choice.
One voice. One vote. One opportunity to make a difference.
I’m running for Congress because I believe public service should actually be about serving the public.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I believe every eligible American citizen should be able to vote—and every legal vote should count.
The SAVE Act is about strengthening the verification of citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections.
Election integrity should not be a partisan issue.
We should make it easy for eligible citizens to vote while making sure our voter registration systems have safeguards to prevent people who are not eligible to vote from being registered.
As a candidate for Congress, I will support secure elections, accurate voter rolls, transparent processes, and public confidence in the results.
You shouldn't have to choose between access to the ballot and election integrity.
We can—and should—have both.My Position on Eminent Domain
Private property rights are fundamental to our freedom.
I believe government should not be able to take someone's property simply because a powerful corporation or special interest wants it.
Eminent domain has a legitimate purpose when property truly must be acquired for a genuine public project—such as roads, bridges, or essential public infrastructure. But the power of government to take private property must have limits.
A person's home, farm, business, or land should not be sacrificed simply for private profit.
If eminent domain is necessary for a legitimate public purpose, property owners deserve fair compensation, due process, transparency, and a meaningful opportunity to challenge the taking.Protect Our Aquifer
Clean, safe water is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
Louisiana's groundwater is one of our most valuable natural resources, and once an aquifer is contaminated or depleted, it can take generations to recover.
As a candidate for Congress, I believe protecting our aquifers must be a priority.
We need responsible development, strong environmental safeguards, proper monitoring, and accountability when projects threaten our groundwater.
Economic development and environmental protection do not have to be enemies.
We can create jobs, build infrastructure, and grow our economy without sacrificing the water our families depend on.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Public safety, accountability, individual rights, and reform of systems that you believe aren't serving Louisiana communities.
