Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Investing in the Quiet Corner.
Small towns shouldn’t be left to navigate state bureaucracy alone. Vincent will fight to end unfunded mandates, bring grant dollars back to the district, and ensure our towns receive the state support and representation they’ve earned.Lowering energy costs.
Connecticut families pay among the highest electricity rates in the country while utility companies post record profits. Vincent supports giving Eastern Connecticut towns the option to pursue public power, expanding free residential energy assessments, and investing in microgrids that make our grid cheaper and more resilient.Trades, schools, and workforce.
Vincent supports universal access to trade schools and certifications, from HVAC and electrical to cosmetology, so every student in the 52nd has a path to a good career. He’ll also push for free school meals and for the state to carry its fair share of special education costs instead of leaving them on local budgets.
Standing with workers.
Vincent wants Connecticut to be the most labor-friendly state in the nation: making it easier to join a union, protecting workers from retaliation, and connecting workforce training directly to good union jobs.
