Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
American Prosperity – My goal as a candidate for U.S. Congress, District 19 is to create UNITY among Americans to work together for the betterment of the United States. This means diversifying our ECONOMY. We are all suffering from the effects of high gas prices, groceries, utilities and insurance premiums going up! I will work hard to create economic opportunities to incentivize businesses for the establishment of careers and higher paying jobs for District 19.Clean Water & Environment - As a candidate for U.S. Congress, District 19, I plan to defend the water quality that drives Southwest Florida’s economy and bring real representation for families in District 19. My goal is to work across the aisles to incorporate policies that will protect our environment through Everglades restoration, red tide research funding, and Lake Okeechobee discharge reforms that safeguard our tourism economy and waterways.Anti-Corruption - As a candidate for U.S. Congress, District 19, I will work in UNITY with my fellow congressional colleagues to reclaim Congress’ responsibility to craft legislation on every single bill. We can do this by working in conjunction with the Ethics Committee, Budget Committee, Judicial Committee, and other various committees to get this important and sizable portion of our job done, rather than leaving it up to the courts to decide, or the next generation! This serious and particularly important work by members of Congress to stop corruption needs to be confronted with the highest level of honesty and integrity to regain trust. It is my inherent belief that we owe this responsibility to ALL Americans!
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Immigration – As a candidate for U.S. Congress, District 19, and a licensed Attorney, I don’t break the law and volunteer in the community to teach others not to violate the law. I would use my knowledge as an Attorney to work together with everyone in UNITY to come up with a humane solution and exercise dignity and respect for all human beings. In addition, those immigrants who have begun the application process for “legal status/pathway to citizenship” deserve the right to be treated fairly, and to have access to legal assistance to complete that process, which was put in place by our United States government.
