Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a current State Senator running for re-election. Previously, I served as a Macomb County Commissioner for 10 years, an Eastpointe City Councilwoman for 8 years, and an East Detroit School Board Member for 6 years. I am a proud Democrat and resident of Macomb County for over 30 years.

Affordability and accessibility of health care, child care, and homeownership.Investment in our school districts and local infrastructure.Increasing the quality of life for all of our residents.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am personally passionate about the condition of our aging school districts, the ability for everyone to have access to health care, and creating living spaces where our residents can live and raise their families.
