I remember being on Southern University campus with my mother during the Civil Rights movement. 1968-1969.[3]

What happened on your most awkward date?
Although very awkward, I had a very good time in Tokyo with a Japanese girl who didn't speak English. Neither one us knew what the other was saying, but we still found ways to communicate.[3]

Christmas and New Years. It's a perfect time to thank God for his blessings.[3]

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Getting funding for my ideas. I came up with the design for the HYPERLOOP in 2011. Elon Musk claimed it as his in 2013.[3]
What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?
It's the best reflexion of the wishes of the people.[3]
Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?
No, because I believe the Duopoly is plagued by polarization that's preventing America from being all that it could be. It's the experienced ones that has us in this predicament.[3]

Yes, That's enough time to show your District what you're made of.[3]

I think it's necessary to maintain a credible Checks and Balances system.[3]

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?
The most memorable was about a family in St. Mary's parish that lived across the Street from a Oyster company. When it rains, the shells with all of its slime ends up in their yard. Still trying to help them resolve this matter.[3]
