In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I'm a Writer and Political Activist.
Born and Raised in Anderson County, SC.
I have a deep love for my state and all who call it home.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
One of the biggest things the South is known for is our Kindness and Hospitality, which should be reflected in our laws and governance.
It is abhorrent that our state consistently passes legislation to put down fellow South Carolinians because of differences in sex, race, orientation, sexuality, or country of origin. I intend to resist and repeal such measures, many kinds of people make up South Carolina, and none are more or less South Carolinian than another. We have roughly 5,000 homeless people in South Carolina, that's 5,000 too many. Every person on the street is a failure on us as a whole.
While it is on the individual to work to better their life, life is not fair, and no amount of hard work can prevent hardships from happening at all. Helping our worst off is not a handout, but proof of our value of community. Hard work can pay off, especially with a little help. Our infrastructure is a stain on our State. While every candidate mentions this fact, none make the effort to effectively repair our roads. It is especially embarrassing for our roads to be in such a state of disrepair when we have a $1.8 Billion surplus.
I intend to fervently push for a complete refurbishment of our roads and vital infrastructure. Better-maintained roads mean fewer avoidable road-caused accidents and repair costs.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am personally passionate about welfare reform and Veteran care.
The state, with a $1.8 billion surplus as of 2025, can do significantly more to make the lives of South Carolinians better, and ought to put such surpluses into programs to benefit us long-term, rather than short-term tax breaks.
Our veterans, who sacrificed years of their lives at a minimum to ensure our freedom, are treated worse than convicts more often than not when they return due to reintegration troubles. Not only should the State make an effort to ensure smooth reintegration, but should also ensure our Veterans don't struggle with homelessness or addiction.
