Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a U.S. Army combat veteran who served for almost 25 years, followed by continued service as a peace officer in my community. I live in Tennessee’s 4th Congressional District with my family, where I remain active in my church and local veteran organizations, including serving as a VFW post quartermaster. My life has been defined by service—first in uniform, and now in my community—and that commitment is what led me to run for Congress. I believe in upholding the Constitution, defending individual liberty, and ensuring that the federal government is accountable to the people it serves.

I deployed in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Operation Joint Forge, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Problem One: Unsecure Borders:
Solution:
New Representatives who are dedicated to securing our borders.
New Representatives who will stand in the breach unafraid of political fallout.
Legislation that is clear, concise, and detailed enough to leave little room for questions about enforcement by the executive branch. Problem two: Lack of Fiscal Responsibility:
We currently have Representatives spending our tax dollars like a bunch of drunken Paratroopers at the strip club. This is reckless, unsustainable, and must end immediately, if not sooner
Solution:
New representatives who will say no to deficit spending regardless of any pressure or political fallout
Cut all foreign aid until our borders are secure.
Streamline all federal agencies by cutting administrative bureaucrats.
Clear and concise legislation containing one issue per bill.Problem Three: Infringements on 2nd Amendment, and other, Rights:
“Shall not be infringed” is very clear.
Solution:
Representatives who stand on principle and refuse to negotiate individual rights away for the illusion of safety.
Repeal the 1934 NFA and the 1968 Gun Control Act.
Relook and clarify all legislation to prevent agencies from interpreting it on their own. The ATF and the pistol brace are one example.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Stopping the tyranny being inflicted on American Citizens by the Federal Government.
Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?
No.

Yes.
What are your thoughts on term limits?

I will only vote yes on legislation that is within the scope of the Constitution and within the budget.

Campaign website
Davis’s campaign website stated the following:
The Issues We Face Today
Responsible Budgeting and Fiscal Management
Congress spends OUR taxpayer dollars like a bunch of drunken Paratroops at a strip club. Which is irresponsible and unsustainable and has resulted in more than doubling the national debt since 2012. This must end immediately if not sooner. Thomas will work relentlessly to stop the runaway spending.
Live within our means: Deficit spending must stop.
Prioritize essential spending: Resources will be allocated in accordance with the function of the Federal Government as set out in the Constitution.
Tax reform and simplification: The entire tax code should be changed to no more than 10 pages.
Transparency and accountability: Promote transparency in government spending and hold officials accountable for responsible financial management.
Restoring the Second Amendment:
The Second Amendment guarantees the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. Supports legislation to:
Repeal unconstitutional gun control laws: Rally support within the House of Representatives to repeal the National Firearms Act.
Protect the rights of gun owners: Defend the rights of law-abiding gun owners from overzealous regulation and prosecution.
Securing the Southern Border:
The flow of illegal immigration across our southern border is a national security and economic crisis. Supports legislation to:
Hold the Executive Branch accountable to its task of enforcing the law: Unyielding efforts to use the power of the purse to force compliance. [3]
