Ted Terry served as the Mayor of the most ethnically diverse square mile in America: Clarkston, Georgia from January 2014 - March 2020. Ted is the youngest Mayor in Clarkston's 135-year history. With more than 17 years of experience in public service, Ted is leading Clarkston's vision to become a more welcoming and compassionate community. As mayor of Clarkston, Ted successfully oversaw the implementation of a bold, progressive agenda including a $15 minimum wage for city employees, the decriminalization of simple marijuana possession, an expansion of after school programs, and a commitment for Clarkston to utilize 100 percent clean energy by 2050. Ted has also represented Clarkston at a United Nations meeting on refugee resettlement and at the German Marshall Fund's Young Policy Network Conference on Migration.
