In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a lifelong North Dakota resident and mother of 3 currently working in higher education. My work experience has been broad and expansive, including stints in the oilfield and healthcare along with my current role in a state University.

This unique background gives me a perspective not many others have. I have seen firsthand the energy sector and its requirements to keep our nation powered as well as what it takes to get the next generation ready for the workforce.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Our youth are our future, and that starts with their education and care. Expansion of headstart accessibility and childcare subsidies as well as funding public schools and their lunch programs is necessary to ensure that people want to start and raise families in North Dakota. Our property taxes should go toward things that improve our quality of life. Transparency about what they are being distributed to is key.North Dakotans shouldn't go into bankruptcy or lifelong debt over medical services.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Affordable childcare, expansion of headstart and pre-school programs, healthcare reform, and property tax transparency.
