Steve William Laible was born in Ashland, Oregon. Laible served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1993. He earned a bachelor's degree from Hawaii Pacific University in 1982 and a graduate degree from Golden Gate University in 1988. Laible's career experience includes working as an author of children's books and as a publisher with the Kodel Group. He has been affiliated with the American Legion.[1][2]

FLAGSHIP TOP PRIORITY IS TO SOLVE THE HOMELESSNESS CRISIS ON DAY ONE BY EXECUTIVE ORDER.

Firemen will no longer have to wander into traffic with literally "boots in hand" ['passing the boot' fundraising efforts to help pay for equipment]. Dignity will be restored.

This isn't about me! That's how badly politics has morphed. This is about advocating for and representing constituents.

Whatever their top priorities are is what's important. Whether climate, Homelessness, crime, it has to come from them. That's why the send their representatives to Congress!

I have no agendas other than to serve as a keynote listener.

Was anointed by Walt Disney when I was 5 or 6.

As Commander (SQ Support) Civil Engineering and Operations SQ Support Commander, supporting two F-16 Fighter Squadrons (Korea). Executive Officer (XO) to three Base Commanders. Superintendent, Publishing HQ 15AF. Aerospace Support Group, 1Strad.

Legislation for the good of the people. Paradigm shaoe shifters.

No. 4 would be better with one additional term. No one serves more than 8 years.

In favor of term limits to end conflicts of interest and to achieve better governing.

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?

No.

There is a lot of leg-pulling in my Stevie Tenderheart children's books. (Kids love that!)

Stevie books help parents put their children to bed on time, every time. Just be mindful when you say, "It's Stevie time." As they'll likely hear, "It's TV time." And that's on you!

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Unfortunately, yes. A better meeting of the minds is the goal. Common sense matters. Character matters. Truth matters. Integrity matters.

We must STOP funding foreign regimes. Imagine where our downtowns of our hometowns would be, had those trillions of dollars been invested in America the Beautiful instead?
