Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Supports & defends the 2nd Amendment Responsible & Accountable Government SpendingAdvocate for Economic Development and Creating Jobs
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Protecting & defending the 2nd amendment for law abiding citizens. I have been an NRA member for many years and I believe in our right to bear arms. I also believe in protecting our waterways, without putting an undue hardship on business and agriculture. I would also like to bring my experience on economic development to the NC House, while implementing responsible government spending. A healthy economy benefits everyone. Limiting wasteful government spending is paramount, but bringing new jobs to the area is equally important. I would like to be your voice in Raleigh and bring the larger corporations to Craven County to create more jobs for my constituents. As a small businessman for over 35 years, I certainly understand budgets and cost-benefit analysis. I will be judicious with your tax dollars, just as I am with my own. My record reflects that.
