In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a Wyoming native, longtime teacher, coach, and public servant who has spent my life investing in Wyoming kids. Born in Casper and rooted in central Wyoming, I built my career in the classroom, on the field, and in the communities I have proudly served for decades. My wife, Becky, who is also a teacher, and I raised our four children in Wyoming. During my years at Natrona County High School, I became known not only as a coach and teacher, but as someone who believes every student matters and every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed.

I believe Wyoming's schools are the heart of our communities. That commitment carried into my public service in the Wyoming Legislature, where I became a strong advocate for education and opportunity. I was the principal author of the Hathaway Scholarship and later helped advance Wyoming's Tomorrow Scholarship, always focused on expanding opportunities for students and strengthening Wyoming's future workforce.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Every Wyoming student deserves the opportunity to succeed.Great schools begin with great teachers.Strong schools require responsible, long-term financial planning.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Wyoming's future depends on every child succeeding, whether they attend public, private, or homeschool programs. We must support the educators and staff who make learning possible while focusing on strong literacy, career readiness, and workforce opportunities. By preparing students for college, careers, military service, and meaningful lives in Wyoming, we strengthen our schools, our communities, and our state's future while respecting parental choice and investing in what matters most: our children.
