Sonja Ogletree Satani served in the U.S. Air Force from 1998 to 2008. She earned a bachelor's degree from Wright State University in 1996, graduate degrees from American Intercontinental University in 2006, and a Ph.D. from the University of Phoenix in 2013. Her career experience includes working as a small business owner and educator.[1]

Dr. Sonja Ogletree Satani is an Air Force Veteran, professor, leadership consultant, and dedicated community leader. Dr. Sonja Ogletree Satani has seen firsthand how strong public policy can uplift families, create lasting economic opportunity, and bring equity into our neighborhoods. Our voice in Columbia deserves to reflect the needs, hopes, and aspirations of every family in District 98.
