In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Sid Sharma. I'm an Accountant. I was born and raised in NC and lived in District 13 my entire life, no matter how many times the legislature changed the maps.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Less Taxes.

As an Accountant there is nobody else you would want in office other than me to help :

1.) Lower Personal Taxes 2.) Lower Business Taxes 3.) Lower Gas Prices 4.) De-Regulate 5.) Cut Costs 6.) Cut Wasteful SpendingStrong Border/Deporting Illegals

1.) I will file a TRADE WAR with Mexico on Day One. For every illegal alien that comes in Mexico will have to pay a VERY HIGH Tariff, Sanctions, etc. Remember, Mexico allows all this to happen.

2.) I will file a bill to have ICE and the other branches of the Federal Government invade Sanctuary Cities and start kicking out all the Illegal Aliens that live there - and to enforce MASS DEPORTATIONS of ILLEGAL Aliens.Helping Veterans.

1.) Ending Homelessness for Veterans. I plan to appropriate funds out of the EPA, IRS, Dept. of Educ. and other useless agencies and give those funds to get housing for Homeless Veterans.

2.) Getting rid of the horrible waiting times at the VA. Congress can seize this power from the VA Secretary and enforce it jointly.

3.) Getting Better GI Bills for Veterans

4.) Getting Veterans jobs when they transition to society. This will be done by giving tax breaks to companies who have a certain amount of Veterans on payroll.

5.) Letting Veterans see a doctor of their choice and get private insurance, if needed.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Taxes, Veterans, Fighting Corruption

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

In terms of Politics : myself.

The reason being is that if you try to follow someone else's path you will never know your own.

Plus, to follow someone else's path doesn't breed originality. You can always admire what others did but you must always follow your own path.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

The U.S. Constitution

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Having Courage, and to Love Your Country.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

I'm an Accountant. I save people money on their taxes and I can do the same in Congress.

Speaking bluntly is another quality.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Wisely using the peoples tax dollars. Saving people's taxes.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Balancing the budget.

Ending homelessness for Veterans

Bringing Prayers Back To School.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

Saddam Hussein being captured. I was too young to remember what was going on but I remember my parents approving of the matter and me trying to change the tv channel so I could play The Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Accounting. Had it since I was 9 and still there to this day.

What is your favorite book? Why?

Ulysses by James Joyce. The reason being its the definition of creativity and human nature.

If its an ongoing story then Naruto and One Piece. The reason being is that both of these comics go in-depth of human nature, it also deals with bettering one's self and to achieve your dreams despite all the odds.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Monkey D. Dragon

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

Preacher Man by ye (f.k.a Kanye West).

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Understanding the Democratic ideology.

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

Power of the Purse.

Impeachment.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

No.

A majority of the Founding Fathers were NOT lawyers, nor politicians.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Political Division

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

Yes.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

Term Limits are UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Check out U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton, 514 U.S. 779 (1995); Cook v. Gralike, 531 U.S. 510 (2001). Democrats in those states tried to add additional qualifications for their representatives in Congress to which the U.S. Supreme Court found Unconstitutional.

Term limits for a Congressman/woman don't even make sense because they need the concurrence of a majority to advance and then 60 votes in the Senate - what I'm getting at is they cannot do the job alone. Term limits for a President makes sense because he is one individual who has the final say to either sign a bill or veto it.

It is not the politician that one is afraid of but the gerrymandered district. If Nancy Pelosi were to retire she would get replaced by a mini version of herself. Coming to NC we had a guy named David Price and he was in office for 30+ years. When he retired he was replaced by someone far worse than him : Valerie Foushee.

U.S. House of Representatives get elected every 2 years and if you need term limits for that then you must be a sore loser - politicians don't just win automatically.

Is there a particular representative, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?

No.

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?

How joe biden brought this disastrous plague of illegal aliens, and rampant debt and inflation upon us.

Tell us your favorite joke.

KKKomrade Kamala

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Only on economic issues.

The Constitution says that all bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. What role would this power play in your priorities if elected?

Making sure no tax money is wasted. Also, by making sure people save money on their taxes.

How should the U.S. House use its investigative powers?

To deter corruption.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

American Exceptionalism Council

What committees interest you?

Financial transparency is a must, because if the people cannot see what we are doing with their tax dollars, how can there be any trust?

Government accountability is also a must - DOGE cuts are a good start.

Campaign websiteSharma's campaign website stated the following:Public SafetyREAListic Border SecurityPresident Trump is BACK and has once again secured our Border — however, our Nation is still in danger of the illegal aliens that came.Sadly, WEAK LEADERSHIP has DERAILED President Trump’s agenda to deport illegals and offer proper relief to Americans harmed by illegal immigration.Sid Sharma will finish the job.Sid believes that a Nation without secure borders is no Nation at all. Because of Illegal Immigration, EVERY town in America is now a border town, and Sid knows Americans deserve safety, order, and the rule of law—not sanctuary policies and lawless chaos. So how????Deport illegals IMMEDIATELY, instead of Brad who wants to keep them in American prisons for years at the expense of the American TaxpayerJailing businesses that hire illegal aliensJailing politicians who harbor illegal aliens in Sanctuary CitiesFully fund ICE for yearsAmending the FTCA (Federal Tort Claims Act) to:Allow any citizen who had a crime committed upon them by an illegal alien to be entitled to financial compensation from the Federal GovernmentIn the case of a democratic administration, States can sue the Federal Government for allowing illegal aliens to come into the CountryAllow the Federal Government to sue Sanctuary CitiesFORCE Mexico, via Congressional Sanction Power, to pay us for EVERY illegal alien that came into AmericaBottom line:When Sid Sharma is in Congress, America will CRACKDOWN on Illegal Immigration like the Proud Nation we are.Constitutional Rights2nd AmendmentSid is a 2nd Amendment Absolutist — which means: NO RESTRICTIONS.The battle for the 2nd Amendment will be in the courts — NOT in Congress.Sadly, if a regular citizen were to file a lawsuit, they would get dragged out in court for YEARS.So what’s the plan??Sid will file a Firearm Lawsuit, ruling unconstitutional pistol permit requirements, pistol braces, bump stocks, etc.Sid will use his power as a Congressman to put PRESSURE (Impeachment) on judges to resolve the lawsuit quickly.Sid will never compromise on your God-given right to defend yourself, your family, and your freedom. The Constitution is clear: "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.Sid just wants every American to remain free, armed, and sovereign.Economy & JobsLESS TAXESGovernment doesn’t have a revenue problem—it has a spending problem. In 2025, America collected 5.23 Trillion in revenue yet WASTED 1.6 Trillion.Sid’s solution is simple: Less Taxes = Less Government = MORE RightsSo what’s the plan??Anybody who makes less than $50k will pay NO TAXESCut taxes for ALL other brackets, as well as businessesCut waste and balance the budgetSimplify the code for families & small businessRepeal the Federal Gas TaxWhy? Because they only account for 3% of the Nation’s revenue and when you factor in that we WASTED 30% of our revenue this year, we still have another 27% to save for those that make more. The American Dream isn’t fueled by bloated government programs—it’s fueled by hard work, innovation, and the sweat/blood of men and women.Sid’s an Accountant and in Congress, Sid will fight to return fiscal sanity to Washington and let North Carolinian families prosper.Sources:Source 1: Tax Revenue Analysis 2025Source 2: Government Spending Breakdown— Sid Sharma's campaign website (February 13, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source. Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Siddhanth Sharma. I was born in Raleigh, NC and lived here my whole life. What has driven me to run is seeing a lot of fake candidates who promise everything and deliver nothing. I cannot stand corruption or stagnation.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Less Taxes. The best way to fight inflation is to lower everybody's taxes on both a personal and business level.Lower gas prices. Another good way to fight inflation is to lower taxes for business that deal in natural gas all the way down to the gas stations. Nobody can be upset when gas is cheaper.Veterans. I seek to end homelessness for veterans. There is no reason that when one serves this Country he/she should be left out on the street. I also seek to increase scholarship opportunities for Veterans and to boost health care to the MAX.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Since I seek to Lower Taxes - that would probably go to the House and Ways Committee

Since I care about Veterans - that would be the Veterans Affairs Committee

Since I advocate letting the Courts do what congress ought not to be doing - that would be the Judiciary Committee Committee

Since I HATE corruption - that would be the Ethics Committee

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

In terms of Politics : myself. The reason being is that if you try to follow someone else's path you will never know your own. Plus to follow someone else's path doesn't breed originality. You can always admire what others did but always follow your own path.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

No. Everyone is unique. You don't find someone out of a book. If you do watch out for those people because they lack initiative.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Courage and originality. In regards to courage you don't want a sissy in Congress. Many Congressman/woman pretend to be a "zealous fighter" and deliver nothing. There are plenty of smart people in Congress but lack the balls to do anything - hence the phrase "they're so smart they're stupid." At the end of the day it all comes down to courage.

In regards to originality if everybody is thinking the same then you are doing it all wrong. Only the original stand out and truly make a difference.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Courage. Telling it like it is. Being able to give direct answers and not "beat around the bush."

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Saving everybody's tax dollars and making sure it goes to the right purposes.

What legacy would you like to leave?

To bring Prayers back to schools.

Ending Homelessness for Veterans.

Working at my Father's Accounting Firm. Still have the job today.

Naruto or Monkey D. Luffy or Monkey D. Dragon.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

I Pray For You - Pusha T; Heaven To Me - Tyler The Creator

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Understanding the Democratic Party.

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution will answer that question easily.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

No because most individuals who signed the Constitution were merchants, farmers, a good chunk of lawyers and judges, slave owners, inventors, etc. It was people who invented the government NOT the other way around.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Political Division within the Country.

I'm not scared of America going to war because No Country would be dumb enough to go to war with America because we would nuke em all and send them to Kingdom Come.

In regards to China, North Korea, Iran, Russia we don't like them because of what they do on a humanitarian level. They are NO Threat at all.

In terms of economic challenges such as producing goods; Under President Trump we were the #1 Oil Producing Country in the world. It is VERY POSSIBLE we can do the same in manufacturing. We just gotta handle our business and ante up.

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

Yes.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

I am NOT for term limits because they are UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Check out U.S. Term Limits v. Thornton, 514 U.S. 779 (1995); Cook v. Gralike, 531 U.S. 510 (2001). Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Yes and No. In terms of economic bills compromise is necessary to achieve an outcome but at the same time one does not have to compromise if the bill is ridiculous like Joe Biden's Build Back Better. Nobody likes to compromise but it does yield a result whether favorably or negatively. Personally Congress gets entangled into too many affairs that should be left to the Courts.

The Constitution says that all bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. What role would this power play in your priorities if elected?

Lowering Taxes, Lowering Gas prices, helping Veterans, funding the Courts and Post Office better.

How should the U.S. House use its investigative powers?

To deter corruption.

Campaign website

Sharma’s campaign website stated the following:

1. Lowering Taxes for EVERYBODY

Best way to fight inflation is to LOWER TAXES

Personally I want a flat-tax rate but there are very slim chances of that happening.

As an Accountant, Upon entering Congress I will file a Bill that will lower the Tax Brackets and Percentages for everybody. This allows the government to get responsible and cut other useless Government programs and agencies such as the IRS, EPA, Department of Education, etc. Beware of Politicians who say they want to make the government “more efficient.” That means they only want to make it larger, meaning more taxes. My job is to make government SMALLER.

Anybody making $11,000.00 or less will pay NO TAXES. I really intend to file a bill re-creating the bracket from people who make $30,000 or less to pay NO TAXES because those who make less than $30,000 only account for less than 3% of all tax revenues. See [link]. I know I will spar heavily with congress on this issue and there will be some meeting in the middle to what I propose – meaning Reconciliation. When individuals have money to save they spend it. It goes back to the economy in some shape or form.

Anybody making between $30,000 and $44,725 will pay 7% in taxes. If the bracket remains $11,000-$44,725 then I will negotiate that those in that bracket pay 5%.

Anybody making between $44,725 to $95,375 will pay 16%. I really advocate making the bracket starting from $70,050 to $95,375 paying 16%.

Anybody making between $95,375 to $182,100 wil
