Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Shenea Lynne Booth is a Henderson resident, small business owner, two-time world champion acrobatic gymnast, and survivor of the USA Gymnastics abuse scandal. Her experience overcoming adversity has shaped her commitment to advocacy, accountability, and public service.
A professional performer and entrepreneur, Shenea has spent her career creating opportunities for others in the entertainment industry. She is the founder of the Circus Arts Guild of America and host of the Circuspreneur Podcast. She has fought for labor protections, workplace safety, fair pay, and union rights for local entertainers, artists, and independent workers, advocating for stronger protections for those whose careers often fall outside traditional employment systems.
In 2024, Shenea worked with the The White House and national stakeholders on issues affecting performers, creative workers, and workplace safety. Her advocacy has focused on ensuring that artists and entertainers have a voice in public policy discussions that impact their livelihoods.
As a candidate for the Nevada State Assembly, Shenea is committed to expanding economic opportunity, supporting small businesses, improving public education, addressing housing affordability, and strengthening support for veterans, seniors, and working families. She believes leadership means showing up, listening to the community, and delivering practical solutions that improve everyday life for Nevadans.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Shenea is particularly passionate about housing affordability, worker and union rights, small business development, child safety and survivor advocacy, support for veterans and seniors, education and workforce development, homelessness and recovery services, and strengthening Nevada’s arts and entertainment economy. Her policy interests are shaped by her experiences as a survivor, world champion athlete, performer, entrepreneur, labor advocate, and community leader.
