Fighting for Iowa's education, including fully-funded public education, Educator Bill of Rights, an end to the terrible voucher scheme that is starving schools.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Fighting for Iowa's families, including paid parental leave, an expanded Hawki program for all Iowa’s kids, Universal Pre-k, childcare credits and assistance for parents.Fighting for Iowa's communities and health including Grants for students and trades that stay in Iowa, an end to tax-payer subsidized starvation wages, disincentivizing corporate profits from leaving Iowa.Fighting for Iowa's Workers, including restored union and collective bargaining rights, a livable minimum wage, work without penalty for individuals with disabilities.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Fighting for Iowa's Health, including de-privatized and expanded Medicaid, radon testing and mitigation credits, stronger agriculture regulations with government supports for farmers.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Compassion, intellectual curiosity, and work ethic.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Compassion is needed to serve constituents in a meaningful way, understanding and solving their problems. Intellectual curiosity is needed to find solutions that actually solve those problems. Work ethic is needed to do the challenging work of advocating for and implementing those solutions.
