In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’ve called the state of Massachusetts home for about 17 years. Born in Haiti, I moved here in 2009 at the age of eight. As a child, I spent most of my time at the Lynn Public Library, where I discovered a love of comics, anime and manga, and developed an interest in the creation of computers and electronics. My interest led me to pursue IT at Lynn Vocational Technical Institute (LVTI), and I have gone on to study Electrical Engineering in college. I currently have an Associate’s degree in Engineering from North Shore Community College, with future plans to further my education.

I am running because the future looks bleak. Right now, it seems like decisions that affect the most vital aspects of our lives are in the hands of pedophilic billionaires and they’re puppet politicians, who would kill us all if it meant making 2 extra cents. We have been watching our country rush into conflict and enact violence against its own citizens without hesitation, when for decades, Americans across the country have waited in vain for the people in power to address issues that affect their day to day lives. Issues that we have the means to solve, such as better access to housing, better healthcare, and reliable public transit.

When I am elected governor, I will use my position as head of the most educated state to show you what the government can do to make your life better.

I will make you believe in Democracy again!

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Infrastructure, housing and the MWPA: In the 1930s, FDR’s works progress administration played a key role in building up the America we know today. Millions of people were employed to carry out public works projects like building hospitals, roads, etc. I wish to implement a similar program in our state: The MWPA. Working with unions to provide proper training, we could hire people to build new housing, reinforce infrastructure against the effects of climate change, expand our public transportation and more. Paired with an improved MA department of labor, we could also connect eligible candidates with companies looking to fill various roles, discouraging the use of ghost job listings and lowering unemployment rates. There are 2 factors that affect affordability: Wage and Cost. Prices have been sharply increasing, but when’s the last time YOU received a raise? Ever since the 1970's productivity has increased but not wages. This is the fault of our elected leaders who willingly turn a blind eye while big companies take advantage of consumers. Instead of advocating for meaningful policy to combat the closure of local businesses and skyrocketing prices, they lobby for tax cuts for the rich. The result: Our GDP is being held up by 8 AI companies boosting their profits by investing in one another, and politicians get a cut for being good lapdogs. To narrow the gap in affordability, I believe we must raise the minimum wage and increase taxes on the rich. When I look at the government, I do not see politicians fighting for the people; I see a revolving door between our government and corporations. Amid our worsening economy and the rollout of ICE death camps, it’s become hard to tell them apart. The POTUS and everyone that surrounds him are proven pedophiles, yet no one is in jail. This wanton display of greed and corruption is a wake up call for us. We have gotten too accepting of subpar governance. We put these people in power, with the expectation that they’d play their part and represent us. When they choose to violate this agreement, they should face consequences. We need to remind these crooks- and ourselves: it's our votes that put them in, and it is our votes that can get them out.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

It shouldn’t be controversial to believe that everyone deserves to be treated as human, but it is. Right now, politicians are wasting billions to fund ICE’s terrorism. Corporations profit while state economies pay the price as tourism and local business slow and families are torn apart. Simultaneously, women once again risk losing the basic rights they were afforded only 54 years ago. Women are vital members of our society who support a large part of our economy. Why are we debating their right to vote and to control their own bodies or finances? Why are detainees being shipped off in the night without their right to trial? If we want to protect ourselves from predatory policy, we have to start defending civil rights. For everyone.
