In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am an America First Republican and a former mayor with a real record of results of common-sense, conservative leadership. I'm running to represent Florida’s 25th district, where I was born, raised, and am raising our family. In Congress, I will keep taxes and costs low; ensure strong borders and national defense; cut waste, fraud, and abuse; and grow our economy.

As Boca Raton Mayor, I delivered real results, by cutting taxes, slashing red tape, cutting crime 25%, and attracting high-paying jobs. I balanced budgets, built a new public school, attracted Brightline, invested in infrastructure, and backed the blue. As America First Mayors' Council Chair, I lead a national group of mayors working with the Administration.

I will work with President Trump to keep our communities safe, lower costs for working families, secure our borders, stand with our ally Israel, unleash U.S. energy, cut red tape, and grow jobs. I support the SAVE America Act and Congressional term limits, pledge not to raise taxes, will ban Congress from trading stocks, and stop foreign influence in our schools. I will defend our Constitutional rights, including the First and Second Amendments.

Born in Miami Beach and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, I graduated from Harvard and Georgetown Law. For two decades, I have been a small business owner and business attorney, helping entrepreneurs create jobs. I've had many nonprofit & leadership roles and been a strong voice against antisemitism

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Economy: As mayor, I cut tax rates seven straight times so that Boca Raton had the lowest tax-rate of any full-service city in Florida. I led 21 streamlining initiatives to cut red tape and costs, adding thousands of high-paying jobs. In Congress, I’ll oppose any tax increases, cut red tape, and grow the economy. We are still suffering from the high inflation and weak economy caused by Biden’s failed policies. Republicans in Congress and President Trump passed the biggest tax cuts in American history, with no taxes on tips, overtime, or Social Security. We’ve seen high growth in GDP and lowered inflation. Rep. Moskowitz opposed all of this, voting for the biggest tax hike in history, hurting families, business, seniors, and our community.Cutting Waste and Fraud: This district needs lower taxes and costs and an end to the waste, fraud, and abuse that takes away our hard-earned money. In Boca, we streamlined 21 times to cut costs and lower tax rates. President Trump stopped tens of billions in wasteful programs that Moskowitz voted to fund and the massive fraud under Biden. In Congress, I’ll build on these cuts and increase oversight to bring real relief to residents. I’ll work in Congress to allow our district’s residents to put more money back in their own pockets. I will cut needless regulations that impact small business owners so our South Florida communities can have more high-paying jobs and lower costs for our communities. I’ll work to end the waste in Washington.Immigration: Under Biden, millions of people streamed across our border without vetting, leading to violent crime, lawlessness, and human trafficking. We need to secure our borders and remove dangerous criminals from our streets. Rep. Moskowitz supported the failed Biden policies. Now many Democrats want to end immigration enforcement, showing how far left that party has drifted. America will always be a welcoming nation for those who follow the rules and come here legally, like many in our community have. A secure border is vital to stopping the flow of lethal fentanyl and opioids that kills thousands. Immigration should be a merit-based approach for those who respect the law and share American values. I stand for public safety.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I’ve fought against antisemitism. As a Jewish person, I understand the need to protect our Jewish community and schools that are under attack more than ever. I will stand strongly with Israel, our strongest ally, and against demonizing Israel or Zionists.

I oppose the rise in anti-Westernism and pro-socialism by the Left and on campuses. I would ban American universities that receive foreign funding for programming from receiving federal dollars.

I am passionate about skilled trades and workforce development, having worked to advance high-paying skilled jobs.

I believe fully in American exceptionalism and that this nation has given more liberty, opportunity and prosperity than any other. I will protect our Constitutional rights.

Campaign websiteSinger's campaign website stated the following:Jobs & Economy - A Proven Record of Strong ResultsLike President Trump, Scott understands what it takes to manage a successful business. Additionally, as mayor, he worked to support local businesses by reducing red tape, increasing the use of technology, and adding more high-paying jobs to our thriving economy. As our next congressman, Scott will work hand in hand with our local business leaders to build consensus on plans for sustained long-term financial growth for our South Florida communities. Scott supports the Administration's work to slash overregulation that burdens businesses and raises costs for consumers. As mayor, he advanced many streamlining initiatives to cut red tape and bureaucracy, increased technology use, and attracted businesses to bring high-paying jobs for residents. When in Congress, Scott will work to put into law the many gains from the Trump executive orders that are unleashing our economy so that our families have more opportunity and greater affordability. Scott supports energy independence to advance our economy free from destabilizing foreign influences and to reduce costs for our nation. Respect the Rule of Law & Stand with Law EnforcementAs mayor, Scott has consistently increased investment to ensure the best in public safety. While other cities defunded police and refused to prosecute, Boca Raton continued to have one of the highest starting salaries for police officers in the nation to attract and retain the best professionals to keep our neighborhoods safe. Scott strongly supports President Trump’s efforts to secure the border and turn back the failed Biden policies that allowed millions of people into our nation outside of the normal vetting process. Singer knows that a secure border is reducing the crises from fentanyl and opioids that are ravaging communities and tearing apart families. Scott stands with our local law enforcement officers who have come under baseless attacks by the radical left in recent years. He knows that public safety is the first function of government and deserves our strong support. As a father of two young children, Scott will keep making sure our neighborhoods and homes are safe. He also wants to make sure our children are safe in cyberspace. Scott has worked to ensure our police and fire rescue services attract and retain the best talent and have the necessary tools and resources to serve and protect our citizens.Committed to a Strong Military and DefenseAs mayor, Scott ensured that funding went to public safety, not woke or race-based programs. As congressman, he will ensure that our brave military men and women receive the support and training they need so that America is prepared for any threat. Scott will always advocate for policies that protect our military warfighters from being put into harm’s way and our nation’s collective national defense. Scott stands with our veterans and will work to ensure that we take care of our brave patriots at all stages of their lives.Scott Pledged to Keep Taxes Low and Has DeliveredScott’s core principles have always centered around keeping taxes low so that more money was in the pockets of American families. Scott has voted for multiple years in a row to lower the property tax rate, never voted for a tax-rate increase, and ensured Boca Raton has the lowest property tax rate of any full-service city in Florida. At the same time, Boca Raton has invested in infrastructure to keep other costs like water rates far cheaper than other cities. Scott stands with President Trump on his work to provide the largest tax cut in American history and will oppose efforts to increase tax rates. In Congress, Scott will work to continue cuts of the incredibly wasteful spending like billions lost in the Biden years spent overseas on ridiculous programs. Fiscal discipline for America First means spending wisely to take care of our core needs so families keep more of their own money. Advance Free-Market Capitalism & Oppose SocialismScott Singer will work to help advance the America First agenda by sponsoring bills to make permanent President Trump's policies that are unleashing our economy and moving America forward.Scott is a staunch supporter of President Donald J. Trump's leadership to cut waste and fraud from the budget. In Congress, he will work to help advance the America First agenda by sponsoring laws to make permanent the policies that are unleashing our economy and moving America forward. Scott strongly supports the President’s strong response to threats from China, Russia, and Iran that have brought peace through strength here and across the globe. Scott has worked to advance skilled trades and manufacturing jobs to provide pathways to prosperity for millions of American and increase jobs. The America First economic and trade policy will restore the American Dream for generations. Scott believes America is the greatest country in the world and will oppose all actions of the radical left to institute debilitating socialist policies here at home.Standing with Israel & our Jewish CommunityIsrael has had no greater friend than President Trump, and as congressman, Scott will work with the president to continue to stand with America’s strongest ally in the region and President Trump's bold efforts to prevent a nuclear Iran. Scott will advocate a strong national defense by ensuring we support our allies and stop threats that look to destabilize the West.At home, Scott worked to ensure safety for our houses of worship and Jewish day schools and will fight to expand existing federal funding for nonprofits at risk of terrorist or extremist attacks. He will continue to stand strong against antisemitism amid the increased bigotry from the extremes and will call it out, unlike Democrats who had two dozen members of Congress shamefully portray Israel’s response to brutal attacks on civilians as genocide. Harmful rhetoric makes our community less safe.Cryptocurrency and Digital Asset InnovationScott supports the ability of cryptocurrency to give individuals more control and transparency for how they want to store their money. Scott will defend your wallet, your safety, and your freedoms.Increasing Accountability and Transparency As mayor, he has also championed reforms to increase accountability, ethics standards, and transparency in local government. As congressman, he will vote to prohibit members of Congress from stock trading. Scott supports banning American schools and universities who receive foreign funding for programming from receiving federal dollars.Defending Our Communities and Constitutional Rights Scott has always stood with our brave law enforcement officers, funding to ensure the best police professionals, leading to a 25% drop in crime rates when he was mayor – from what were already 40-year lows. Scott stood up to challenge a law that could have had police officers responsible to pay for their own defense even when acting lawfully. At the same time, Scott will protect our Second Amendment rights against attempts to infringe on them. He knows that lawful gun owners deserve our rights and that we need to focus on stopping criminals, greater enforcement of existing laws, and more mental health treatment.Infrastructure and InsuranceScott knows this district as a lifelong resident and as a mayor and the need for coordinated transportation planning along our nearly 30 communities. He will work for better federal solutions for our roadways, bridges, and coastline – something many residents feel was neglected by prior representatives. He will push to streamline the federal permitting process as he did many times as mayor, leading to savings of tax dollars and time.Scott will push for greater action by Congress to expand insurance programs that will save our taxpayers more of their dollars. This coastal district has unique needs for flooding and windstorms, and Scott will work to increase federal support to lower costs.History of Service & Community InvolvementScott remains active across both national and local service organizations.
