In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Sarah Puckett, a 5 year resident of Franklin County, lives in Grubville. After growing up in Missouri, traveled and lived across the country including South Florida, California, and Washington State eventually making her way back to where she was born. Not the typical candidate, Sarah has never run in political circles but has focused more on farm life and self sufficiency, while engaging with neighbors and community to uplift those in need. She has been a foster home for Catahoula dogs in partnership with Cascade Catahoulas and has a weak spot for a critter in need. Sarah is passionate about responsible farming and animal husbandry. She is also environmentally conscious and opposed to the contamination AI Data centers pose on the air, water, and land. Sarah is also an avid supporter of women's rights and supports a woman's right to choose abortion. She also supports a Medicaid for all, cutting insurance companies out of healthcare completely.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I am against AI Data centersI support women's rights and health including access to abortion. A woman's right to choose what is best for her, her health, and her family and the only one making those decisions should be a woman with her doctor.I support Medicaid for all! Insurance companies should be removed from healthcare completely. You can not have healthcare as long as there are for profit companies involved.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Abortion rights, Women's rights, Healthcare, Education funding. I'm against the sales tax increase proposed for Amendment 5 and I'm against Proposition 3 and 4 which are taking the power away from voters and giving it to polititicians.
