In their own words
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Putting People Before Politics:
I am running to ensure every family in House District 28 has a representative who listens and leads with integrity. Too many people feel unheard or overlooked, and it is time to put people before politics. I believe in accountable, responsive government that focuses on real solutions, not partisan agendas. My commitment is to serve every resident of this district, regardless of party, background, or zip code.Strong Schools and Opportunity for Every Child:
As a teacher and a proud product of our public schools, I see every day what our students, teachers, and classrooms truly need. I will fight for fair school funding, better support for educators, expanded career and technical pathways, and safe, welcoming campuses where every child can learn and thrive. Investing in education is investing in the future of our families, our workforce, and our entire community.Affordable Living and Community Well-Being:
Families across Fort Bend County are feeling the strain of rising costs, from property taxes to insurance rates to everyday essentials. I will work to bring transparency to the property tax system, push for relief where possible, and support policies that improve access to healthcare and mental health services. Every family deserves stability, dignity, and a fair shot at building a better life.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about policies that strengthen families and give every person a fair chance to succeed. As a teacher, I care deeply about fully funded public schools, safe campuses, and expanding opportunities through CTE and apprenticeships. I am also focused on making life more affordable by improving transparency in property taxes and tackling rising insurance and healthcare costs. I believe in policies that prioritize community, accountability, and access to essential services so every family can live with dignity, stability, and opportunity.
