Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I was born and raised in Carson City. I am a working class Nevadan and have seen my state become unaffordable. I have watched friends and family struggle with student debt, buying homes, and paying medical bills. Working with mutual aid organizations, I have seen the number of struggling families and homeless grow. I aim to fix this.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Affordability. Everything has become unaffordable: housing, education, healthcare, childcare, cars. We need policies that support people, not profits.Fairness. We must put power back into the hands of the people. We need unions, Medicare for All, public housing, and affordable education.Justice. We can not have a separate justice system for billionaires. We can not ignore the constitutional rights of immigrants and citizens.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Universal Healthcare has been a dream of mine for over a decade. No one should go bankrupt because they get sick and needed help.
