In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m an expert in voting rights and election law and have been a go‑to voice in the Georgia legislature on these issues. I am a litigator in private practice. I have three school-aged children. We call Atlanta home.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I’m an expert in voting rights and election law and have been a go‑to voice in the Georgia legislature on these issues. I led voter protection efforts in 2020 that helped elect Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. I’ve fought legislation that restricts voting access and advanced policies that strengthen secure, fair, and accessible elections. Protecting the ballot box is foundational to every issue that matters to Georgians.Government should work for the people—not the powerful. I’m fighting to ensure every Georgian has access to safe, stable, affordable housing and to hold HOAs accountable. Businesses and wealthy individuals must pay their fair share, and utility rates shouldn’t be inflated to boost corporate profits. Workers deserve fair compensation, and immigrant families and other vulnerable groups deserve dignity, due process, and access to essential services. Our communities must be safe, healthy, and resilient. I support expanding renewable energy, protecting natural resources, and ensuring every neighborhood has clean air, clean water, and access to green spaces. I’m working to strengthen oversight of high‑energy‑use industries, safeguard public health, and promote environmental justice so all Georgians—regardless of zip code—can thrive in healthy, sustainable communities.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I’m passionate about strengthening democracy, expanding affordable housing, protecting workers, and ensuring dignity for immigrant families. I also care deeply about environmental justice—clean air, clean water, and access to green spaces. My work focuses on fair elections, economic stability, and healthy, sustainable communities where every Georgian can thrive.
