What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Nations around the world have always made some effort to achieve cosmopolitanism with one another, majorly through regional integration. Regional integration is the process in which two or more nations or states agree to work closely together to achieve peace, stability and wealth. These agreements are made for various reasons ranging from economical to political to environmental. Regional integration is always organized by the governments or through presentative bodies of the government like the cabinet. Members of the states under this agreement always enjoy the benefits that come with these integrations like no barriers to free trade, fewer restrictions on movements of people, resources and goods within the members’ jurisdiction and enhanced security along the borders.
Regional integration is mainly in form of trade blocs or international organizations with a common aim among the member states. The major trade blocs include the European Union (EU), the African Union (AU), Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), Arab League (AL), Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC), East African Community (EAC) and many more. There are also Multilateral Free Trade Areas which is an agreement between two or more nations or blocs to trade freely and equally amongst themselves. They include Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA), and the Pacific Alliance. International organizations mainly include the United Nations (UN).

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Integrity and mental competence are two very important traits I believe every elected official should have.
What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?
The normalized relations established between the nations of Israel, the US, and Bahrain is expected to establish an unbreakable relationship with King Hamad and Prime Minister Netanyahu in order for them to establish a deep and connected relationship between different problematic struggles and strategic planning models. Historically, Israel and Bahrain have had a strained relationship, making the new pact a big achievement between the two nations. After its independence from British rule in 1971, Bahrain joined the already established Arab League boycott of Israel. The Arab League was formed with the main objective being to cease all economic relations with Israel. Later on, the league introduced a secondary boycott seeking to cease relations with all companies that do business with Israel. A tertiary boycott was imposed soon after, seeking to blacklist all companies that do business with companies with trade relations with Israel. However, Bahrain has been making efforts to establish ties with Israel, the first significant move being in 2005 when it abandoned the boycotts after the U.S. offered the country trade agreements. In 2017, Bahrain's king, Hamad bin Isa Khalifa announced that the country would no longer subscribe to the Arab League boycott of Israel. Critics claimed that the increased U.S. Bahrain relations were a major cause for Bahrain's withdrawal from the Arab League. The new pact between these two nations is expected to increase collaborations in various sectors, including trade, security intelligence, and diplomatic relations. With the normalizing relations in position, Bahrain citizens will have a free pass to Israel. It is expected that the two counties will establish embassies in each country as a starting point to cement the newfound relations.
