In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

A born-and-raised hoosier, husband and father of two, community volunteer. I've spent my professional career in the private sector, currently working as a project manager. As a 10th generation American, I am also a proud member of the Sons of the American Revolution. My focus for this campaign is the well-being of all hoosiers. When asked what my special interests are, my only answer is family, friends, and neighbors.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

We must do something about our budget. Too often hoosiers are asked to carry the full burden while large businesses receive benefits lasting a lifetime. We need to shift that burden off of taxpayers and make our dollars count, instead of misleading voters with bait-and-switch legislation. It's time to make these corporations truly invest into our communities, not through philanthropy, but with common sense taxes.Public education is under attack and that starts with funding. In the 2024-2025 school year alone over $490,000,000 was taken from public schools to fund private institutes. When schools face heavy cuts from the state, local government is forced to impose additional taxes to make up for the loss caused by legislation. Now we are faced with more cuts. With over $700,000,000 proposed cuts over the next 3 years, classrooms will become more crowded and less efficient.Being a public figure means being available to the public. It's the responsibility of our elected officials to keep voters informed about policy that affects their lives. Whether that's social media, answering emails, or taking phone calls, it's important to keep in communication with the people you represent.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Budgeting is a big part of that because it touches so much of our lives. That includes education, taxes, healthcare, roads, and much more.

As we all know, AI is quickly becoming more intwined with our lives, creating a demand for data centers. Data centers are going through a gold rush for the top spot, and with little to no regulation, we must reign them in before our resources are drained.

With that said, it ties in the next concern, energy. Utility costs are rising, just like everything else, and with a push for solar farms, it's important to build infrastructure that fits a communities wants and needs.
