Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m Ross Davenport, a Laramie resident, husband, father, educator, and community member running to represent Wyoming House District 45. I believe government should be accountable to the people it serves, protect taxpayers, support strong schools, and preserve the local decision-making and individual freedoms that make Wyoming special.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Protect taxpayers and make Wyoming more affordable.

I will work to keep property taxes under control, demand responsible state spending, and make sure families, homeowners, and small businesses are not priced out of the communities they helped build.Support strong schools and the people working in them.

Wyoming needs excellent schools, competitive teacher pay, and policies that allow educators to focus on teaching. I will support our teachers while insisting that education decisions remain accountable to parents and local communities.Keep Wyoming decisions in Wyoming hands.

I believe in local control, individual rights, responsible development, and protecting Wyoming’s resources. Whether the issue is water, data centers, property rights, or government growth, the people affected by those decisions deserve a real voice.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about keeping Wyoming affordable, strengthening our schools, protecting individual rights, and preserving local control. That includes responsible property tax policy, competitive teacher pay, support for families and small businesses, protection of Wyoming’s water and natural resources, and making sure major development decisions are made transparently with the people who will be affected by them.
