In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m Ross Berry, a husband, father of two, small-business owner and state representative serving Weare and Goffstown. My wife, Samantha, and I live in Weare, where we are raising our family and operating two local childcare centers. Running a business and raising young children gives me a firsthand understanding of the pressures facing working families, from property taxes and childcare costs to the rising price of nearly everything.

In the New Hampshire House, I have chaired the Election Law Committee for four years and previously chaired the Special Committee on Childcare. I have built a reputation as someone willing to take on difficult issues, work with people when necessary and stay focused until we deliver an actual result. My priorities are straightforward: lower taxes, reduce the cost of living, protect individual freedom and keep our communities safe.

Outside of work and public service, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring New Hampshire and caring for our ever-growing flock of backyard chickens. At the end of the day, I am a neighbor who loves this state and wants to keep New Hampshire the best place in America to live, work and raise a family.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
