In their own words
Who is Rocco?
Rocco is a dedicated Minnesota father, small business owner, and Republican candidate for State Senate who is stepping up because career politicians have failed our state. He is not a professional politician — just a concerned citizen who has had enough of high taxes, rising crime, failing schools, and policies that hurt working families.
Rocco’s campaign centers on restoring common sense, pride, and accountability to Minnesota government. His key messages are clear and bold:
Restore the Minnesota Flag — Rocco is leading the effort to return to our historic 1893 flag design. This unifying symbol honors our state’s proud heritage, pioneers, and North Star values while rejecting the divisive politics of the current version.
Transportation Sanity — He has proposed a practical fix for the Lafayette Bridge area with an elevated ramp to relieve the dangerous 94 West to 35E North bottleneck that creates daily gridlock. Rocco will fight for roads that serve commuters, not just special interests.
Law and Order — A strong defender of our police, Rocco is calling for a new trial for Derek Chauvin. He believes those who remain silent on injustice are complicit in injustice. Due process and equal justice must be protected from political pressure.
Rocco will also champion tax relief, school choice, parental rights, public safety, and economic opportunity. He promises to block radical policies and deliver real results for Minnesota families.
It’s time for change. Rocco is the
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Restore the Minnesota Flag
Rocco is proud to champion the effort to Restore the Minnesota Flag to its original 1893 historic design. The current flag, pushed through amid controversy, lacks the dignity and unity that Minnesotans deserve. The classic seal-centered flag beautifully honors our state’s pioneers, natural beauty, and proud heritage as the North Star State.
As your next State Senator, Rocco will introduce legislation to reinstate this timeless symbol and give voters a direct say through public input and a statewide referendum. This is about more than fabric — it’s about rejecting divisive politics and restoring pride in Minnesota’s shared identity.
Join Rocco’s campaign, bring back our historic flag and unite our state once again.Lafayette Bridge Relief Project
Rocco is delivering real solutions to Minnesota’s traffic nightmares with his bold Lafayette Bridge proposal. The current 94 West to 35E North ramp — a dangerous 20 mph, 270-degree turn — creates daily gridlock and safety hazards for thousands of commuters.
His plan calls for an elevated ramp above Lafayette Road that veers north to connect seamlessly with 35E North at Cayuga Street. This targeted improvement will add critical capacity without massive disruption.
As your State Senator, Rocco will fight to secure funding and push legislation to make this project a reality. No more wasted years on half-measures that make traffic worse. Minnesotans deserve safe, efficient roads that support you, not politics.Derek Chauvin & the Demand for Justice
Rocco is calling for a new trial for Derek Chauvin. The original case was tainted by political pressure, media frenzy, and threats that prevented a truly fair proceeding. Key evidence was downplayed, and due process was compromised.
Those who are silent on injustice are complicit in injustice. Rocco refuses to stay silent. Every American deserves equal justice under the law — not mob rule or political theater.
As your State Senator, Rocco will defend due process, protect our law enforcement officers from politically motivated prosecutions, and restore integrity to Minnesota’s justice system. Silence is not an option when the foundations of fairness are under attack. Sign the petition on my website.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Public Policy Priorities
Rocco is passionate about several key areas of public policy that directly impact Minnesota families. He is fiercely committed to public safety and law enforcement, calling for a new trial for Derek Chauvin and vowing to protect officers from politically motivated attacks.
He champions transportation reform, including his Lafayette Bridge proposal to fix deadly bottlenecks and reduce commuter gridlock. Rocco is also leading the effort to Restore the Minnesota Flag, restoring pride in our state’s historic identity.
Additional passions include tax relief to make Minnesota affordable, expanding school choice and parental rights in education, cutting wasteful government spending, and fighting fraud!
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
I look up to Charlie Kirk and his unwavering search and acknowledgment of the truth.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Integrity and service to others
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
To fight for the people, not politics
What legacy would you like to leave?
I would like to inspire others to stand up to bullies and fight for those without a voice.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
My first job was as a paper boy for the pioneer press at 10 years old. My younger brother and I held the job for about 3 years so we could earn money to go to Disney World.
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Staying silent while the Democrats destroyed our city.
What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature?
They should be working together to make Minnesota a safe, secure, and prosperous for everyone in Minnesota, not just one party.
What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?
Fighting Socliasm and breaking the one party rule of the Democrats.
Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?
Not at the expense of the public good. Every bill accoring to our constitution needs to be a single bill. Democrats sneak in the craziest crap in Omnibus spending packages, most notably the Crap flag we currently have, and that has to stop.
What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?
1979 oil crisis.
