In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m Ricardo Cabrera, a San Diegan, small business owner, and cybersecurity professional running for Congress in CA-51. I’m stepping forward because families are being priced out of California and career politicians have failed to fix it. I believe in term limits, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and a government that serves the people, not itself.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Congressional Term Limits

I am running because Washington needs citizen legislators, not career politicians. I support congressional term limits to restore accountability and make sure elected officials stay connected to the people they serve.Keep Families in California

Too many families are being priced out, taxed out, and pushed out of California. I want to fight for affordability and for policies that make it possible for working families to live, work, and build a future here.Accountability and Common-Sense Government

I believe in fiscal responsibility, public safety, and a government that focuses on results instead of bureaucracy. Voters deserve leadership that serves the people, not political insiders.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am most passionate about public policies that restore accountability and make it possible for families to build a future in California again. That starts with congressional term limits, because career politicians lose touch with the people they serve. I also care deeply about affordability, responsible budgeting, public safety, and creating a stronger environment for small businesses and working families. Too many people are being priced out, taxed out, and pushed out of this state. I believe government should be limited, effective, and focused on protecting opportunity, not expanding bureaucracy.
