Background

Renee Muir earned both a bachelor's and a graduate degree from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her career experience includes serving as a special investigator for the New York City Department of Investigation, a principal analyst for the Connecticut General Assembly’s Legislative Program Review and Investigation Committee (LPRIC), a patrol officer and detective for the Hartford Police Department, and a senior policy and research analyst with the Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy at the University of Connecticut. She also founded Justice Solutions Consulting.[1]
