Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Hello! My name is Reed Johnson and I am a proud North Dakotan and Grand Forks resident. I grew up in Dickinson, and after high school I had the honor to attend and graduate from West Point. I served as a United States Army Officer before leaving the Army and attending law school at the University of North Dakota.

I remain committed to supporting efforts to lower property tax, increase government efficiency, and support the University of North Dakota and other Grand Forks employers.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I support the governor’s efforts with property tax relief and look forward to seeing new ways and methods to make Grand Forks a more affordable place to live and raise a family.North Dakotans expect a government that works for them and is not overly complex. I support efforts to streamline government where available and support the use of North Dakota businesses to contract with the state where necessary.The University of North Dakota is a cornerstone of Grand Forks, and the state must assist UND in encouraging efforts to develop the workforce of the future.
