Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Becky Kroll is a lifelong Missourian and a proud native of rural Cole County. After living and working in several Missouri communities, she returned home in 2018 to care for her mother and has remained deeply involved in the community she has always called home.

A graduate of Lincoln University with a bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Elementary Education, Becky has spent her career in the private sector, working in retail, food service management, and warehouse operations. Coming from a union family and working alongside everyday Missourians, she understands the challenges facing working families, rural communities, and small businesses.

Becky is running for the Missouri House because she believes government should listen to the people it serves. Her priorities include strengthening public education, expanding access to rural healthcare, addressing the rising cost of living, and protecting the voice of Missouri voters. She believes the best solutions come from common sense, honest conversations, and putting neighbors before politics.

Becky believes that when the people of Missouri speak, their elected officials have a responsibility to listen. Respecting the voice of the people isn't about politics. It's about honoring the votes of the citizens who put politicians there in the first place.Becky believes state budget decisions should take into account their impact on students, teachers, families, and local communities, particularly in rural Missouri.

She views funding for public education as an important investment in the state's future and recognizes the role schools play in supporting students and strengthening communities.

Her approach emphasizes considering both fiscal responsibility and the long-term effects that education funding decisions can have on Missouri's workforce, economy, and rural communities.Becky believes that every Missourian deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of where they live. She supports policies that strengthen rural healthcare systems, improve access to doctors and specialists, expand telehealth where appropriate, and protect the long-term health of rural communities.

The areas of public policy Becky is most passionate about are strengthening rural healthcare, expanding access to fresh and nutritious food, fully funding public education, building stronger communities, and respecting the voice of the people.
