Background

Raymond Plante earned a bachelor's degree from Plattsburgh State University in 2010. His professional experience includes working as an airline pilot. He began serving in the U.S. Army in 2006. He is affiliated with the NRA and the New Hampshire Republican Party.[1]

Lifelong conservative with a history of service. 14 year Veteran of the Army National Guard. Over 12 years of military and commercial aviation experience as both an Army Aviator and Airline Transport Pilot. Grew up in the Adirondack mountains and have a deep-rooted passion for environmental protection and agriculture. Experience in federal law enforcement, the private sector, and small business pursuits. Patriot. Live Free or Die.

Never allow state income or sales tax in NHProtect all rights under the 2nd amendmentSave our natural resources for future generations

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

2nd Amendment rights, against state income tax or sales tax, less government interference, veteran healthcare, student and child rights, environmental conservation, Pro-life, backing of police, protecting property, protecting history, border protection, state's rights, agriculture, immigration, technology, clean energy, small business enhancement.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Protect our freedom, liberty, and resources for future generations.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

Enlisting in the Army at age 17. I can remember sitting at the kitchen table with my mother, father, and the recruiter, because my parents had to sign for me since I was not yet 18.

What is your favorite book? Why?

1776 by David McCullough because it tells the magnificent story of our new nation and George Washington. The story of patriotism, valor, liberty, and freedom for the United States of America.

What do you perceive to be your state’s greatest challenges over the next decade?

Protecting the freedom and liberty of our residents.

Do you believe it’s beneficial to build relationships with other legislators? Please explain your answer.

Yes, coming from a district with 3 representatives, it is imperative that we work together to properly represent our constituents.
