Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I believe the role of a public servant is to serve and represent their communities. I live in the center of our district and my kids attend our public schools. I have been an engaged community member for over the past 6 years and will continue to be once elected. I believe it's important to be continuously speaking with our community members so that we, as leaders in the Statehouse, can advocate for what's important in our Districts and to our State. As your representative, I am committed to advancing fiscal policies that maximize the purchasing power of our tax dollars. Currently, our community is missing high-return investment opportunities in preventative healthcare and childcare infrastructure. National economic data consistently demonstrates that proactive funding in these sectors yields a powerful multiplier effect—returning between $5 and $9 to the local economy for every $1 invested. By expanding access to preventative health services, we reduce long-term medical expenditures. By expanding affordable childcare, we enable parents to re-enter or remain in the workforce. Responsible leadership means investing early to build a more resilient local economy.Indiana can support business growth without sacrificing the well-being of everyday Hoosiers. Our goal must be responsible corporate expansion that respects our rich historical and agricultural roots while ensuring our graduates can afford homes and build careers right here. Currently, nearly 40% of Indiana college grads leave the state within twelve months of graduation. This brain drain costs us talented workers, future leaders, and essential state tax income. By creating vibrant local economies and accessible housing, we can keep Indiana’s brightest minds building their futures in Indiana.
