Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am grateful to call Brunswick, Maine my home. During my 35 years of living and raising a family here, I have grown to care deeply about the wellbeing of our community; the people, the safety net organizations, the schools, and businesses. I am passionate about ensuring your right to affordable, quality, publicly funded healthcare, and will work hard to pass legislation guaranteeing this.

I care that we all benefit from an excellent education, a clean, healthy environment, nutritious food on the table, and a safe place to call home. We must work for a community that is free from systemic discrimination, economic hardship, and regressive taxation. If we are all to prosper and contribute, as members of this community, these things are critically important. Yes, I care and that is why I am running to be your next District 49 State Representative.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I care about the people of District 49; their health & wellbeing, protecting their jobs and financial security, guaranteeing their families a safe, healthy place to live supported by an excellent school system and safety net organizations when they need them. I am a hard worker, smart and collaborative team player. I know how to get the job done working with people from diverse backgrounds and view points, to represent the interests of District 49 people and our community. Every voice and perspective matters to me. I will listen to what people care about, what is important to them and how I can best serve them as their representative.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about the responsibility of providing affordable, safe, comprehensive, publically funded healthcare for all Maine people.

I am passionate about working very hard in smart and creative ways to ensure that every business in Minae survives the pandemic and comes out the other side in a position to grow and prosper.

I am passionate about every person in Maine having access to excellent public education K-12, and higher education that meets their needs and allows for a living wage-paying employment.

I am passionate about keeping Maine green and clean by transitioning to non-fossil fuel energy, more public transportation, bikeways, and (at least partially) eclectic cars.

I am passionate about preventing gun violence prevention throughout our state with sensible gun laws that support the responsible use of firearms while preventing gun violence including shootings, suicides, and accidents.
