From Fighting Injustice to Fighting for Queens
Growing up, I learned early what justice looks like—not in theory, but in real life.
My parents were small business owners in the serving elderly residents with dignity and care. But despite their commitment to their community, they faced faith-based discrimination. In one official report inspectors cited their facility for not providing a varied diet. They had even told patients they had a right to demand pork, although at least eighty percent were Jewish. They also mocked immigrant employees for not reading and speaking English “properly” and made openly antisemitic remarks about my father. Their final report was filled with false accusations and discriminatory treatment.
Instead of backing down, my father fought back through the legal system—and won.
That experience shaped everything about how I see government. It taught me that when systems fail people, you don’t walk away—you step up, challenge injustice, and demand accountability.
That lesson has guided my entire life in public service.
I started early when I was elected student president in College, where I built student leadership structures and created new opportunities for engagement. I later became an entrepreneur, launching a catering and events business that taught me the realities working families and small business owners face every day.
In public service, I carried those lessons into government roles focused on real outcomes, not rhetoric.

Pesach Osina is a father of six who knows what it means to stretch a paycheck and deal with rising costs. Now he’s running for State Assembly District 23 to focus on what actually matters: lowering costs, improving public safety, and making sure our community gets the attention it deserves.Affordability
Families are being squeezed from every direction — insurance, utility bills, and childcare costs keep rising. Pesach Osina will fight to push back on rate hikes, expand tax relief for the middle class, and make childcare more affordable so working families can actually get ahead.Transportation
Our district deals with some of the longest commutes in the city. Pesach will protect the Cross Bay Bridge rebate, expand Fare Fares, and push forward QueensLink to finally connect our communities and give people a real alternative to long, unreliable commutes.
