Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
I look up to the historic example and legacy of my great-grandfather, Governor Alejandro Vazquez Del Mercado. As a leader, he perfectly modeled what it means to be Honest, Humble and Brave. He never hesitated to risk his life in the battleground as a military hero and deploy personal family investments to defend education, hospices, agriculture, libraries, churches, water management, subsoil bonds, financial binational infrastructure. His governance proved that major cross-border economic expansion and mining concessions could be executed cleanly by embedding strict ethical clauses that guaranteed community royalties and protected sovereignty. I follow his blueprint and original historical administration of putting public stewardship above personal ambitions.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Must be Honest, Humble and Brave. My platform is driven by these exact principles, embodied by my great-grandfather, Governor Alejandro Vazquez Del Mercado, who famously risked his life and personal assets for the national cause and liberal republican principles. One of the Prominent Man of Mexico. True leadership requires the absolute honesty too remain uncorrupted by modern corporate lobbies, the humility to put the common good above personal ambition, and the bravery to confront sophisticated, cross border financial exploitation. I bring this unbreakable will to the Florida House, standing as a fierce champion for asset transparency and constitutional protections for every family, individuals and nature preservation in District 113.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
The core responsabilities of a State Representative are the absolute defense of constitutional protections, fiscal transparency, and unwavering institutional accountability to the electorate. For District 113 international financial hub, this means updating our legislative frameworks to safeguard local assets and homestead protections, from sophisticated cross border fraud and human trafficking. An elected official must act as vigilant gatekeeper, ensuring state that state resources, infrastructure, and public systems serve common good and remain completely secure from external exploitation or capture.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I intend to leave a legacy defined by the resurrection and restitution of my family's historic 1522-1910-1946 decrees and mandates, transforming them into modern frameworks for binational sovereign asset protection and ethical resource connectivity for the common good. As the appointed ethical succesor to this jurisprudential lineage, my focus is to introduce strict legislative oversight models that confront sophisticated financial structures FATF and regional resources challenges, such as subsoil mineral protections and the exploitation of water networks and human capital. Ultimately , I want my tenure to establish restitution that paid national debt by establishing a baseline blueprint of my legacy of transparent administration and unyielding constitutional defense, ensuring that Florida's sovereign assets, homesteads, business and vital resources are permanently secured for the people.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
My first defining professional role was as a TV Host, Journalist, and Producer with Univision from 1991 to 1997. For six years, I hosted international segments broadcast across the United States and 14 Latin American countries. This foundational role allowed me to amplify underrepresented Hispanic voices, focus deeply on international politics, human rights, migration, and cultivate a lifelong standard of strict investigative integrity and public engagement.
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
The greatest battle was my own choosing to unmask, infiltrate and expose offshore Financial Action Task Force corruption and unaccountability hoarding of human capital and sovereign assets across cross border jurisdictions. Navigating this grueling systemic capture of corruption wealth, oligarchs with no merit, organizations no one voted for and greed power of corrupted alliances is a severe test of endurance as I continue to be persecuted. Challenges and threats do not break me they strengthen me, instead, it forged an unyielding resolve and gave me first hand, expert insight into precisely how predatory legal and corporate structures operate, enabling me to rescue and restitute ethical lineage governance. I hold over hundreds of original historical, decrees, treaties, infrastructure and holy crusade documents that bear my name. I won't sell 500 years of jurisprudential lineage for greed, fame or money.
What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature?
The ideal relationship between the Governor and the State Legislature must be rooted in strict constitutional separation of powers, mutual respect, and absolute accountability to the people. While collaboration is vital to execute broad policy goals, the Legislature must always maintain its independent oversight role to ensure government actions protect public funds and sovereign assets. Both branches must work together firmly to safeguard Florida's borders, preserve economic transparency, and ensure that institutional systems operate with complete integrity for the coming good.

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?
Florida, United States and Mexico greatest challenge over the next decade is ensuring absolute financial sovereignty, asset infrastructure protection, public credit ethical administration and accountability within our own rapidly growing international markets. To counter institutional overreach and corporate capture, our legal and economic structures must evolve. My priority is to model true transparency by making my family's vault historical decrees, state bonds, and constitutional documents fully public through open AI repositories, universities, colleges and schools. This permanent public digital record will serve as a community blueprint proving that ethical governance is both profitable and safe for public good, establishing and unchangeable standard of accountability for Florida and North America future beyond my lifetime.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
I Cannot Be Bought: not a career politician, I am a former political and credit risk broker AON (2007-2009), Land banking broker and custodian of an ethical lineage as appointed succesor in historical archives for water and subsoil mineral dispute claims between Mexico and United States. I am a silver creditor of Cayman Islands investigative expose of fraud and seizure of assets by the Financial Action Task Force Corruption. I am not a sell out to any corporate lobby. Having survived an international legal assault to seize my life, I know exactly how institutional systems can be captured by wealth and power. I am using my own exposure to build ironclad legal armor and accountability. I answer only to God, my legacy, and the Constitution.
What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?
My lifetime has been a direct witness to the systemic corruption, asset depletion and unlawful seizure of my family's legacy following the post -Revolution 1911 expropriation of our ethical infraestructure, electrical plants, railroads, mining concessions, and water administrations. I grew up witnessing how unchecked greed organizations and corrupt officials greed captures institutional power, leading to historical academic and moral theft with a total lack of accountability. My life's promise is to secure absolute restitution for victims on both sides of the border who struggle against water and mineral heists, as well as those targeted by academic, financial and moral exploitation.
