In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m Packy Campbell, a lifelong Granite Stater running for State Representative in Strafford District 1, Farmington.

I was born in Strafford County in 1969 and have never lived anywhere but New Hampshire. Brenda and I have been married 30 years. We raised five children here and are now proud grandparents.

I’m a builder by trade. I bought my first investment property in my early 20s, founded a construction company that has built over 300 homes in the region, and today own and operate RSA Realty in Rochester. Across 25+ years I’ve started and run businesses woven into the local economy — storage, touchless car washes, assisted living, solar, a gravel pit, and a rental and party supply store right here in Farmington. Every one of them creates local jobs.

I’ve served before. I represented New Hampshire in the House from 2002 to 2006, sitting on the Education Committee and the Resources, Recreation & Development Committee. I led the state in targeting aid and grants, securing millions for Farmington High School and lowering local property taxes.

I’m pro-business, pro-family, pro-life, and pro-freedom — and I keep a bipartisan mindset, because common-sense solutions shouldn’t need a party label. Farmington deserves a fighter who builds.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I’ve done this before. In the House, I led the state in targeting aid and grants back to my district, securing millions for Farmington High School and lowering local property taxes in the process. Farmington families are being squeezed, and the answer isn’t a new tax — it’s making sure the state education aid we’re owed actually reaches us, so the burden comes off local property owners. I know how that process works because I’ve worked it successfullyI’ve built over 300 homes and created jobs across the Seacoast for 25 years. I know exactly which regulations, fees, and duplicate layers of bureaucracy drive up the cost of a house and slow a project to a crawl — because I’ve paid them. New Hampshire’s affordability problem won’t be solved by people who’ve never poured a foundation. Cut the red tape, let builders build, and home ownership comes back within reach for young families. Our electric rates rank among the highest in the country, and that’s not an accident — it’s the result of a for-profit monopoly on delivery. I support an “all of the above” energy strategy and public, state-run electricity delivery so ratepayers aren’t funding someone else’s margin. That’s the same principle behind everything I believe: limited government, real individual responsibility, and families keeping more of what they earn.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Education, Energy, Healthcare, taxes, regulation
