In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I have worked in frontline roles and understand firsthand the pressures working families face every day. The dignity of work, and the idea that those who do the work should share fairly in the rewards, are central to my convictions. Over time, I’ve watched too many of our communities struggle while wealth generated here flows elsewhere. That reality is what led me to step forward and run for office. The goal is simple: a state built by and for the people who live and work here, and stewarded responsibly for generations to come. I believe that our economy should reward work, not just wealth, and that local communities deserve real power over their economic destiny.
My priorities include protecting and expanding collective bargaining rights, supporting worker-owned businesses, and ensuring that companies operating in West Virginia reinvest meaningfully in the workers and communities that generate their success. West Virginia should lead in building a diverse, stable, and forward-looking economy that creates good-paying jobs across energy, manufacturing, and emerging industries.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Working people built West Virginia, and working people should shape its future. I am running to strengthen collective bargaining, expand worker ownership, and ensure that those who create value share fairly in the rewards. An economy that rewards work over speculation will make our communities stronger and more stable.Wealth created in West Virginia should be reinvested in West Virginia. I support policies that require meaningful local reinvestment, encourage small and locally owned businesses, and diversify our economy across energy, manufacturing, and emerging industries. Economic growth must be stable, long-term, and community-centered.No family should have to choose between medical care and basic necessities. Expanding access to affordable healthcare and supporting hospitals across our state are priorities. At the same time, our tax system must treat working families fairly and promote long-term fiscal stability.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about labor rights, economic development, healthcare access, and tax reform. I believe strong collective bargaining and local ownership are essential to building durable prosperity. I care deeply about rural healthcare sustainability, responsible energy diversification, and creating pathways for young people to build stable careers in West Virginia.
