Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I grew up in El Dorado, the son of a union pipefitter and a nurse, where my parents instilled in me the values of hard work, legacy, and compassion. A year after high school, I enlisted in the United States Army and became an infantry grunt. Deployed to Afghanistan, I saw firsthand what forever wars cost all of us. After three years in the infantry, I served as a counterintelligence analyst in the U.S. Army Reserves while completing my degree at Wichita State University. Now, I’m raising my two kids in Kechi with my wife, and just like many other families, we’re scared. Scared by the skyrocketing cost of living on everything from groceries and electricity to health care. I’m running for the U.S. Senate to make life more affordable, end forever wars, and clean up corruption, so Kansas kids can build their futures here at home.
Members of Congress have deserted regular Kansans, while a few at the top profit. I’m running to defeat Senator Roger Marshall, a man so weak that he turned tail and ran out the back door of a town hall when Kansans dared to ask him simple questions. In the Army, I learned that you don’t run out the back door when things get tough; you stand tall and fight. It’s time to fight back against a system that works great for the Roger Marshalls of the world, and not the rest of us.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
The top concern I hear from Kansans is the high cost of living. Families are scared. Everyday costs like groceries, electricity, and gas are out of control. Far too often, you can’t even afford to see a doctor when something is wrong.
It’s time to make life more affordable for families. That means a tax cut for the middle class and closing loopholes that let the rich cheat the system. We must make it illegal for corporate CEOs to price-gouge consumers at the grocery store and stop reckless decisions, such as tariffs and conflicts in the Middle East, that have driven up costs. Every American should also have access to health care they can afford. The American dream feels further out of reach every year for many Kansas families. The entire system is rigged by money. A handful of people at the top are calling all the shots – and the rest of us get stuck with the bill. Politicians like Senator Roger Marshall cash the checks, cast the votes, and then watch their stock portfolios climb, while the corporations that take advantage of working Americans post record profits.
It’s time to clean up corruption in Washington DC once and for all. I don’t trade stocks or own crypto, and I won’t take corporate PAC money. To unrig this system, we need to ban stock trading, ban government officials from using insider information to profit on prediction markets, and overturn Citizens United. As an Army infantry grunt, I’ve lived through a forever war. I know what they cost American service members and their families. America should be strong and safe, but you don’t start a war of distraction without evidence, without a clear objective, or without a plan to end it.
People at the top treat war like it’s a video game, while our sons and daughters are being used as bargaining chips. There are real consequences when we put lives on the line. I will stand strong against America entering into any more forever wars – which politicians use as an excuse to cut our healthcare and Social Security – and hold accountable those who are pushing us toward them for their own gain.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
As a veteran, I know firsthand the sacrifice our servicemembers and their families make. Too many politicians use veterans as props, and then fight us tooth and nail when it comes to the medical care and other support we deserve when we come back home. The VA is my primary care doctor, and the people who work there are saints suffering in a system that doesn’t let them provide the care they actually want to. We need to reduce wait times, especially for veterans who live in western Kansas and have to drive hours just to see their doctor. We also need to attract and retain more medical professionals, reverse VA cuts, tackle veteran homelessness, and expand programs that help veterans transition into the workforce.
Campaign websiteTaylor's campaign website stated the following:I grew up in El Dorado, the son of a pipefitter and a nurse. My wife’s from Wichita. We were raised with Kansas values: You do your job. You play by the rules. You support your family. And you look out for your neighbors. Now we’re raising our two kids in Kechi — and our neighbors are scared. Because everyday costs like groceries and electricity are out of control, and you can’t afford to go to the doctor when something hurts. Property taxes have exploded, and we don’t get much of anything in return. The stuff that makes a good life feels farther out of reach every year. And if we’re being honest, Kansans have been feeling this way for a long time. Nothing changes, and no one in power seems to do anything about it.Why does nothing ever change? Because the entire system is rigged by money. A handful of people at the top are calling all the shots – and the rest of us get stuck with the bill.Between 24 hour outrage news and algorithms designed to keep us glued to our phones, we’re too busy fighting each other while the price-gouging corporations and the politicians they fund get away with whatever they want and walk away richer time after time. Corporate profits are higher than ever and some people are even reaching trillionaire status — all while kids are starving and families can barely keep up, let alone get ahead. This isn’t an accident. The system was built this way, and politicians from both parties let it happen. Because they care more about their bottom line than yours. Politicians like Senator Roger Marshall cash the checks, cast the votes, and then watch their stock portfolios climb, while the corporations that take advantage of working Americans post record profits. Their comfort has corrupted their leadership. And they’re wasting our tax dollars on themselves along the way.I PLEDGE TO FIGHT FOR THESEPriorities in the SenateLower costs for KansansIt’s time to make life more affordable for families who are already working hard, so we can feel a bit of security for once. I'll fight to:Stop the reckless tariffs that are driving up costsCut taxes for the middle class and closing loopholes that let the rich cheat the systemMake it illegal for corporate CEOs to price gouge consumers at the grocery storeGuarantee the right to repair our own equipmentBreak up utility monopolies to cut energy bills Stop insurance companies from denying coverage for the care your doctor prescribes you Keep corporate landlords from buying up Kansas homesDefend Social Security and Medicare so that people who have worked hard and paid into the system know they can retire with dignityEnd forever warsI fought against the Taliban forces that Iran funded. No one, especially not me, is lamenting the death of the Ayatollah. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. But I’ve lived through a forever war – I know what they cost American service members and their families. And I’ve seen who pays the price, and it’s not Washington politicians like Roger Marshall. America should be strong, and Americans should be safe, but you don’t start a war of distraction without evidence, without a clear objective, or without a plan to end it.People at the top are treating war like it’s a video game or action movie, while our sons and daughters are being used as bargaining chips. This is not a spectator sport. There are very real consequences when we put lives on the line, at home and abroad. I will stand strong against America entering into any more forever wars – which politicians use as an excuse to cut our healthcare and Social Security – and hold accountable those who are pushing us toward them for their own gain.Clean up the corruption once and for allI don’t trade stocks or own crypto. I won’t take corporate PAC money. And I’ll listen to every Kansan, whether you voted for me or not. To unrig the system, we need to:Require accountability and transparency – you’ll know who I meet with and how I get paidBan stock trading and first-class flights for Members of CongressBlock government officials from using insider information to profit on prediction market betsPush for term limits because our country is run by people who won’t live long enough to bear the long-term consequencesGet money out of politics by overturning Citizens UnitedProtect voting rights so every eligible Kansan can exercise their right to vote— Noah Taylor's campaign website (July 29, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
