Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Bringing real rural representation. In Minnesota we often see legislation passed with a metro focus and not as much consideration for greater Minnesota. I want to change that. I want our voices heard when legislation is crafted and passed with the understanding that what benefits us also benefits all of Minnesota.Following the Constitution. Today we se so many politicians bickering and writing failing legislation based in these culture war topics. They do this ignoring the fact the constitution as laid out in the bill of rights is a non binary document. It says People and person. It does not dictate rights based on things like sex, gender, race or religion and trying to segregate groups and individuals from the same rights that are guaranteed to all is simply unconstitutional.Investment in our communities. By making sure we spend the peoples tax dollars efficiently in things like infrastructure, housing, healthcare and schools. We need investments like this to keep our smaller communities alive and allow them to thrive and attract more people to them. This creates opportunity and growth for our state.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
The efficient use of our tax dollars that show investment and growth that will see positive returns.
