Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am an accomplished registered nurse and healthcare leader. I spent decades caring for people as an emergency nurse, always listening and acting on the needs of the people in my care. I'm no stranger to high-stakes situations. My career has been built around thinking clearly under pressure, solving complex problems quickly, and delivering compassionate care when it matters most. My life of service began in childhood. Led by my parents’ example, I volunteered at church and completed service activities as a Girl Scout. My engagement in community service continues as an adult, as a Rotarian, church volunteer, and in leadership roles on multiple non-profit boards.
I bring extensive international experience to Congress. I spent decades providing free medical humanitarian care in South America, Asia, and Africa. As an international healthcare consultant, i worked to bring current clinical standards to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, while educating healthcare leaders and governments on best practices in leadership and governance.
As a small business owner in these economic times, I understand firsthand the challenges and uncertainties of a rapidly changing marketplace. Simplifying the tax code, investing in training and education programs, and expanding broadband so small businesses can thrive in the digital economy are efforts I support.
I have been recognized as a Fellow by the American Academy of Nursing and the Emergency Nursing Association for my contributions.

You can trust Nancy. As an experienced member of the nation's most trusted profession, Nancy brings integrity, honesty, and transparency to the job, She is admired for her professionalism, high standards and her loyalty to those she serves. Public trust in government is at an all time low, trapped in partisan bickering, self-serving. and seemingly incapable of real change. People are longing for someone who can restore credibility, foster a culture of respect and be a model of ethical behavior. Nancy is the right woman for this moment.Real Care. Real Change. Nancy puts people first: she cares about the issues those in her district care about, whether it's a farmer struggling with tariffs and the high cost of fertilizer, or the small business owner tapped in government red tape, or families just trying to buy groceries and afford health care.. Nancy's career is steeped in compassion, empathy, and collaboration. Essential to that commitment is an understanding of community that makes her a champion of everyday people, not just the powerful elites. She will fight to make life more affordable and government more responsive for those she represents.Nancy's a pragmatist who learned her lessons in the emergency ward. She's a problem-solver and a data-driven decision-maker who knows that good health can't be gained through false claims, ideologies or conspiracy theories. For her it is as true for the nation as it is for her patients. Nancy makes the science and the evidence a priority, because she knows too much can be lost if we don't. When people want to raise the temperature in public debate, Nancy wants to cool it down, analyze the problem, and look for sensible and sustainable solutions. Whether the issue is health care, immigration, gun control, education, or taxes, Nancy brings action, experience, and clear sense of values to the moment.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
1. Affordability - Nancy wants to make life easier and more affordable for the people in her district.
2. Healthcare - Nancy supports patients rights to make their own healthcare decisions, access affordable courage and prescription drugs, and know our nation has prioritized public health and medical research.
3. Jobs, taxes and the federal debt. - Our national debt now surpasses GDP, yet we cut taxes and increase military spending with unauthorized wars that cost $1 billion a day. Vanity projects and poorly designed programs with unqualified leadership have gown our debt The DOGE process ended up costing more than it saved.
4. Voting rights - free and fair elections, national standards for redistricting, inclusive vote ID
