Background

Morgan Griffith was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1958.[1] He earned his bachelor's degree in history from Emory & Henry College in 1980 and his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1983.[1][2] Griffith's work experience includes working as a lawyer. Griffith served the Virginia House of Delegates from 1994 through 2010, serving as majority leader from 2000 through 2010.[1]
