In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Around town, people know me as "Coach Moses." As a teacher, coach, and youth soccer administrator, I've spent my career telling kids the same thing: your actions have to match your words.
I will be a different kind of lawmaker — one who puts our values first and ensures Glastonbury plays an active role in making life easier for working people and local businesses. I'll stand up to powerful interests and fight for more state funding for education to lower our property taxes while supporting our schools. I will hold Eversource accountable and make sure their first priority is lowering electric costs, not paying themselves. And I will always stand up for the values that make Glastonbury home — keeping our community safe, welcoming, and healthy.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Affordability for our families — Glastonbury families already pay high property taxes to support our great schools and the town services we all rely on. And right now, the squeeze is being felt everywhere: gas, groceries, housing, electric bills. Moise will fight for more state funding to lower our property tax burden, expand tax credits, and deliver real relief for the working families and retirees who need it most.Hold Eversource accountable — Connecticut's utility rates are an outrage. He'll cut the charges that don't belong on your bill and put residents first, not Eversource CEOs and shareholders. Moise's priorities will be families and small businesses – not the companies doing just fine without our help.Support Glastonbury's future — Good jobs and economic growth don't just happen on their own. Moise will fight for the small businesses that are the backbone of Glastonbury, strengthening our workforce through strong PreK–12 pathways to college and career, investments in skilled trades, and policies that give young people a reason to stay and build here.
