Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

LOWER COST OF LIVING.

The east side of Cuyahoga County is more expensive than other areas in Northeast Ohio. This is largely because fees, income, sales, and property taxes are too high. State limits on maximum possible tax rates, can’t pass anything higher, block tax increases from low turnout election ballots, and increase required percent of vote to pass taxes hikes.

Water and Sewer departments need to report to Public Utilities Commission, like electricity and gas; forcing justifications for current and future costs. We don’t have a vote on water & sewer rates or who runs these monopolies.SCHOOL CHOICE.

Dramatic expansion of school choice to the maximum. This means that parents everywhere get to choose the best schools for their kids. Arizona and other states passed much wider school choice than Ohio and are doing better than Ohio.

Per student spending on the east side of Cuyahoga County is high and the results are dismal. Beachwood collapsed in just a short time from number one in the state to 70+. Cleveland Heights has 11% math (simple algebra 1) proficiency (8th grade state testing, a year ago).Cut Waste

The Ohio government is spending over $100 billion every year. Twenty years ago it was $47 billion. More than 50% increase in spending over twenty years while the population grew only 3%. Many areas to cut waste and send the dollars back to people.

It’s not just Somali Medicaid fraud, Ohio spends per person much more than Florida. The roads, schools, and services in Florida aren’t worse than Ohio; and Florida has lower sales tax, no income tax.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Hard limits on tax rates

Mikhail Alterman is advocating for very hard limits on income, property, and sales taxes. Also, hard limits on local government fees. It's expensive here, for example:

- near 5% property tax in Shaker (legendary high tax - just to keep the house!).

- 3% income tax in Bedford for non-residents, 2.85% in Euclid, etc. These are much higher rates than even the state income tax.

- Many cities are not giving tax credit for income tax already withheld in another city. East Cleveland, South Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Warrensville Heights, University Heights, etc. This hidden tax is never voter approved.

Obstruct new taxes. Too many taxing authorities. Alterman is for full reversal of the recent DeWine gas tax.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

Various non-leftist non-Democrat aligned organizations

Mikhail Alterman did not complete [the profile publisher]'s 2022 Candidate Connection survey.

Alterman's campaign website listed the following issues:[4]

Economic growth

Excerpt: "Midland, Texas has limited government, is generating unprecedented economic growth with an extraordinary jobs creation rate. We need to learn from and even copy the successes of the richest zip code in the nation."

Energy

Excerpt: "Government rationing of energy production and consumption is the opposite of what North East Ohio people need. Fracking has been a welcome economic boom to us. Slowing down or banning fracking hurts employment and will result in higher utility bills."

Abortion

Excerpt: "Women’s health issues are not the same thing as abortion. In rare cases women’s health requires abortions. There is no known pending legislation or proposals to outlaw abortions even when mother’s health is in question. The combining of abortion and women’s health into one is used as a scare tactic to get low information voters voting for Democrats."
