I am a retired Naval officer, a former Town Council member and four-term State Representative, a former Chairman of the Connecticut Conservative Caucus, as well as an engineer, a husband and a father.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I will be a steadfast check against liberal policies that are bankrupting our nation and our future generations.I believe that the current border and immigration policy is an alarming threat to our national security, our communities, and our youth.I believe in a robust and powerful national defense, most notably I strongly support the need to equip our fighting men and women with more submarines.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Economic policy; national defense; immigration policy; appropriations process.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Consistency. Integrity. Compassion. Curiosity. Eagerness to help.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Curiosity, integrity, honesty, transparency.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

To always stick to your core principles. Your constituents elect you to represent them for a reason. Never lose sight of that.

Knowledge and practical experience in the governing process is important, but not determinative.
